Displays

Here are various in-store displays that I’ve designed for multiple agencies.

Wendy’s QSR Point-Of-Purchase Displays

In my time at Wendy’s, I worked on over 50 QSR programs, and I designed at least half of the in-store displays for those toys. Here are a few of them.

Life Size Characters

Following on the heels of the massive Star Wars: The Phantom Menace life-size character displays, we pitched a number of similar concepts to clients. The one that got the most traction was a Cruella DeVille – I developed a $60,000 prototype, featuring a sculpted bust of Glenn Close by a top Hollywood FX artist, a faithful replica of her movie costume, and a realistic dalmation puppy sculpt, and delivered it to Disney in Burbank. As with Star Wars, I oversaw the fabrication of her body mold and hand-painted the face and limbs myself. Alas, the project fell apart due to the cost-per-unit of so many custom items!

In-Store collateral

These are the typical pieces that are designed for an agency as day-to-day work.

Large custom in-store displays

These, however, are more bespoke, unique displays that are designed for specific promotions or seasonal holidays and tend to be at a higher price point.
